Nan tried not to laugh and shook her head. “At least she doesn’t gossip anymore,” she said. “Are we going home now?”

Logan grinned at her question and nodded. Without another word he walked with her as quickly as possible to his home. When they reached the doorway he picked her up in his arms and kissed her. “I love you,” he murmured before he walked through the door with her in his arms.

Nan couldn’t help laughing as he carried her inside. “Are you going to put me down?” she asked softly. She didn’t mind him holding her though. The feeling of being in his arms was better than anything she could imagine.
